Pubg
pubg or playerunknown's battlegrounds
has one of the deepest and most
interesting backstories out of any
battle royale game and lore that is
criminally underexplored being one of
the first battle royales to take the
scene the game's lore compared to other
games that came after is extremely
difficult to reach but has one of the
most intriguing backstories of all time
this will be the most up-to-date andthis will be the most up-to-date and
accurate telling of the pubg storyline
and lore thus far some material and
themes in the pubg lore some viewers
may
find disturbing but nonetheless i will
stay as accurate and close to the
material as possible also this video
took an extreme amount of work to make
so before we start if you don't mind
leaving a like and subscribing as wellif you feel so inclined and i also have
a pubg creator code you can use if you
want to support content like this as
well but with that being said let's
explore the entire storyline and lore of
pubg our story today actually begins in
1983 in korea where a prison on the
island of taigo resides news breaks out
that a convicted murderer kang j ma
breaks out of prison and the story plays
out as follows a riot broke out in taigoout as follows a riot broke out in taigo
hausan prison around 4 pm on the 21st
resulting in the deaths of 22 inmates
and two prison officers convicted
murderer kang j ma who was sentenced
to
death escaped from prison during the
tumult he had been confined in room 25
on the first floor of building 2 of the
prison complex in august 1982 ma
planted
a bomb on viper gang leader tachoolyoon's car on behalf of another gang the
explosion killed yoon's son jehon yun
and ma went on to kill and hide the body
of seven more viper gang members
before
the police apprehended him this series
of grotesque murders committed in
places
such as a massage parlor and even an
upscale hotel shocked the public in
january 1983 ma was sentenced to death
after those events had taken placehassan verified that ma would be locked
up for the rest of his life however
there was much more to ma's story
before
his eventual death sentence approaching
hassan's guards paid off by a crime
syndicate unlocked every cell in the
notorious c block with the flip of a
switch a series of murders arsonists and
mobsters were set loose they had all
been promised the same thing kill ma
andgain their freedom in a position of
power within the syndicate in hindsight
maybe not the best plan worried
Someone
else might steal their prize the inmates
quickly turned on each other the result
was an almost comically bloody
free-for-all ma survived and managed to
escape the prison fleeing with a single
copy of the prison's closed circuit ty
or otherwise cctv security footage sureit was grainy and black and white but
when mauve fought off an entire cell
block full of attackers it was glorious
ma had no idea what this one tape would
lead to
[Music]
this then takes us to a small boy living
on a soviet-controlled island named
sergey kalimnik living as a young boy
with his family on the island of erengelwhich at the time was becoming
increasingly oppressed by the
government
the soviet forces were beginning to
overreach in their power over the
citizens on the island installing and
enforcing curfews subjecting them to
inhumane tests and any resistance to
this tyranny would result in a harder
clampdown from the soviet government
ultimately this was ran by a singledictator whose Image can be found
plastered all over the buildings of the
island arengel which was at its peak a
thriving and completely self-sustaining
island was now being suppressed by the
government overreach and tension that
was growing eventually coming to a head
with a full-scale war breaking out
between the soviet military forces and
the citizens of arendelle the rebellion
used houses with secret bunkers tocommunicate with other rebel forces as
most mainline methods of
Communication
were being monitored and actively
blocked by the soviets the rebels would
use hideouts to stage and coordinate
attacks and push back the soviets the
war on the island raged on and
eventually the citizens who yet fought
valiantly but were still ultimately
outgunned and outmanned succumbed
to theoverwhelming force of the soviet
military and every resident on the
island perished all except one that is
and that boy was sergey kolemnik he
knew
he had survived for a reason but would
not begin to understand his true purpose
until years later after getting his
hands on the security tape that showed
kang jae ma's incredible escape sergey
began turning a massive profit producingand selling other prison riot films
later dubbed the gulag tapes these gulag
tapes became something of a hot
commodity around the black market and
this was a time before the mainstream
adoption of the internet where virtually
anything is accessible to anybody these
were different exclusive these tapes
will be bought and sold for up to 430
000for a single tape but what was so
appealing about these gulag tapes you
might ask besides the obvious shock
value these would bring the point wasn't
to watch people die but to watch people
survive it was brutality raw and
unfiltered and kalimnik
would use this tape to build an empire
this then brings us to a company known
as typhonic industries this was acompany whose intent at least as far as
the general public was concerned was to
extend the health of human life into
later years essentially trying to
develop technology that would assist
people and allow them to age more
gracefully but was that typhonic
industry's true intent secretly behind
the scenes.
