conquer devour and assimilate later in

the film when one of its worms tries to

attack and infect a young woman named

kylie she experiences visions of its

history including the devastation of an

alien planet and some memories it picks

up from human hosts this shows that not

only is the species connected by a

shared consciousness much like a hive

mind but that they also absorb key

memories and experiences from their

victims in its most basic or true form

it resembles a thick and bristled needle

with a fleshy and wiggling tail that's

only a few inches in length the needle

transformed into a slithery blobby

the long one is incredibly formidable

using the sharpened end of its tentacles

which themselves are strong enough to

throw fuly grown men through the air

it's able to slice through skin and burn

like butter while he manages to escape

the search party discovers brenda in the

barn who was inflated to comical

proportions resembling a giant human

balloon finally reaching a maximum

capacity of stretchability she pops

unleashing a legion of hefty writhing

slugs these worm-like offspring are

simplistic creatures that grow up to

approximately a foot in length with red

blood drenched.
